earthðer is the culmination of years of study, practice, and devotion woven together by founder/owner Jana Carter, LMT | CH, based in the Vail Valley of Colorado. Through therapeuticmassage + bodywork, herbal medicine + consultations, herbal mixology elixir bar, and Taoist-inspired tea ceremony, each offering honors the natural rhythms that restore balance, alignment, and vitality.
Rooted in nature and guided by passion, earthðer exists to bridge the spaces between body, emotion, and spirit. Every session is an invitation to deepen awareness, reconnect with the innate intelligence of the body, and align one’s own earthðer elements to be both grounded and free.
Drawing from ancient wisdom traditions of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Traditional Thai, Unani Tibb, Taoism & Western Herbalism paired with modern therapeutics, this work creates experiences that are holistic, intuitive, elemental, and deeply restorative. Whether through touch, plants, or ritual, earthðer offers a space where healing unfolds organically and invites you to reconnect to oneself, to others, and to the living world around us.

| Where earth meets ether |
I believe there is medicine in every aspect of our existence—life & death, love & heartache, joy & sorrow, light & darkness, earth & ether.
In the realm we exist in, one cannot exist without the other. This is the dance of yin and yang. All life is balance.
I believe we are natural alchemists capable of transforming dense experiences into spacious growth, and subtle ideas into lived, embodied realities. This knowing was forged through personal experience. It was death that gave meaning to my life, and it is this understanding that continues to guide and inform my work.
At earthðer, healing is not something that is forced or fixed but rather is something that unfolds organically when space, safety, and reverence are present. We each carry a unique medicine within us. Like herbs, some of that medicine is sweet, some bitter, some sour; but all are healing in their own way. Through awareness, presence, and intention, we learn how to work with what we carry rather than resist it. This work is an invitation to remember your own medicine and to return to balance, vitality, and wholeness.
